                                                              "Reportedly introduced in 1902, the powerful, full-bodied flavor the Bolivar cigar range is almost as widely known as its namesake, Simon Bolivar. The Bolivar cigar brand was developed by Jose Fernandez Rocha, was trademarked in 1921 and was made by J.F.Rocha y Cia. until the firm was sold to Cifuentes y Cia. in 1954.
