1st to 31st of October – London Restaurant Festival

You can always find great food in the capital and, with the return of the London Restaurant Festival, you’ll have the chance to enjoy it at superb venues – like the Saatchi Gallery, The Trafalgar Dining Rooms and the Skylon Grill. You’ll also be able to participate in the great events that will be running throughout the month, such as a line-up of mini menus and tasting evenings. At the end of a fun and exciting day exploring true gastronomical masterpieces, finish with the beautiful notes of a complimentary cigar.

1st to 7th of October – London Cocktail Week

This week-long event will see over 300 bars across the city serving the most amazing cocktails. 2nd to 5th of October – Carlos Acosta, a Celebration

Classical ballet fans cannot pass up this prestigious event. Cuban dancer Carlos Acosta is celebrating 30 years as a professional dancer by performing at the Royal Albert Hall this October, showcasing the beautiful dance moves he became famous for over the years. Before retiring in 2016, Acosta danced with some of the world’s best ballet companies, such as the Bolshoi in Moscow and The Royal Ballet, so you’re sure to enjoy a perfect evening of beautiful ballet.

5th to 7th of October – Frieze London

The best-known contemporary art fair returns to London’s Regent’s Park this October. More than 160 of the most highly-respected galleries from a range of different countries will be represented here. Famous names will present their work alongside the future stars of the art world and the sheer variety of works displayed will ensure that there is something for everyone’s tastes. Such a respected and prestigious event should be celebrated with a gorgeous cigar.

10th to 21st of October – London Film Festival

The 61st edition of the BFI London Film Festival is almost upon us. The UK’s biggest celebration of international cinema will showcase the best movies from Cannes and award-contenders from the US, starting with Breathe, Andy Serkis’ directorial debut. End an evening of superb cinema with a commemorative smoke of your favourite cigar.

12th of October to 20th of January – Night and Day: 1930s Fashion and Photographs

Starting in October of this year, the Night and Day: 1930s Fashion and Photographs event will showcase the wonderful Thirties through pictures and the fashion of the time. The hard-edged chic seen in the Art Deco and Modern styles came into full swing in this decade, and this exhibition will explore both day and evening fashions, as well as photos of celebrities who wore them.

23rd to 28th of October – Six Day London

This event was first held in the capital in 1878 in Islington and is as much of a big deal now as it was back then. Over six days, cyclists from all over the globe compete in several races on a track. They ride in teams of two in relay style, and the winner is the team that can do the most laps. Currently, the event is held in the Lee Valley VeloPark in the Olympic park. Again, what better way to celebrate the victory of your team than by enjoying a great smoke with a drink in your other hand?

25th of October to 6th of January – Natural History Museum Ice Rink

The winter ice rink in the Natural History Museum was one of the first to open in London. This 1,000 square meter rink will be surrounded by 80,000 glowing lights and a glittering 30-foot Christmas tree. This annual winter celebration couldn’t be complete without a fantastic balcony café/bar on-site where you can warm up with delicious hot chocolate.
