Thursday 12th June 2025 - Blind Tasting Cigar Evening Habanos & Coutanseaux Aîné

It has been nearly two years since our last mystery Habanos tasting with the last one being for Dia de la Independcia in October 2023. Well we can’t host on Friday 13th June because of prior arrangements, but rather than miss out on the fun, we’re thinking why not host on Thursday 12th June instead. So we will!

But what we can tell you is that we will be pairing the cigar with a couple of cognacs of the highest quality. We’ve had the pleasure to pair with the outstanding Tesseron and Remy Martin for events in recent years and this cognac certainly fits the bill for a cigar pairing. Coutanseaux Aîné have two extraordinary cognacs: the XO & XXO can stand alongside any cognacs at a similar price point and age. The elegance of the decanter undoubtedly passes the aesthetic test for luxury and the cognac inside surpasses many of its contemporaries for quality of flavour. Joining us to talk about the cognac will be brand ambassador Pedro San Martin. Pedro you say, yes Pedro, good friends with the owners of Coutanseaux Aîné, his experience and expertise in the wine industry and grape cultivation has made him a connoisseur of the industry and we are delighted for him to join us once again.
