The Emerald and Islay Cigar Sampling Event

Rocky Patel’s Emerald has emerged as one of his finest blends to date. “The Rocky Patel Emerald stands out as our first box-pressed cigar designed to be on the lighter side of medium-bodied.”  The cigar’s ostentatious emerald green foil is not one of a showy pretender, but of a cigar worthy of being recognised. Providing a medium-bodied blend with tobaccos from Ecuador, Nicaragua, Mexico and Honduras, the Emerald has been noted to have a complex and well-balanced flavour profile.

Ardnahoe is the 9^th and newest operating distillery on Islay, opening in 2017, sited on the north-east region of the island. To stand with their renowned contemporaries on Islay, they have forged their own identity, producing non-age statements and 5-year whiskies of excellent quality. We will be tasting the Cask Strength, Bholsa and Infinite Loch releases.

The experts joining us will be Bright Leaf brand ambassadors Alan Graham and Phil Matthews to discuss the cigar and Duncan Chappell to introduce the whiskies and brand.
