You may have heard this before; but what took place in 2017 is happening again on Wednesday 7th October 2026 - with an equal level of significance, but a different meaning, marking a new chapter for this iconic cigar.

This landmark event celebrates the incorporation of the Cohiba Talismán into the Línea Clásica as a permanent addition to the portfolio. While there have been previous examples of limited and special releases transitioning into regular production, the most notable recent precedent is the Trinidad Topes, originally introduced as the Edición Limitada 2016.

The Cohiba Talismán is arguably one of the most significant cigars in the history of Habanos S.A. Its worldwide debut in 2017 marked the launch of that year's highly anticipated Edición Limitada. The response from cigar enthusiasts and collectors across the globe surpassed all expectations. In the nine years since its introduction, the Talismán has maintained its exceptional prestige, desirability, and appeal, remaining one of the world's most sought-after cigars.

This sold-out event on 7th October will be hosted by Hunters & Frankau in the magnificent Orangery at Kensington Palace. Set within the grounds of this historic royal residence, the venue provides a truly distinguished setting in which aficionados can gather for an unforgettable evening celebrating the return of one of Cohiba's most celebrated and distinctive vitolas.

James J. Fox Celebrates the Talisman release

The day following the official launch, on Thursday 8 October, we will be hosting an exclusive sampling event at our renowned cigar shop and sampling lounge on St James’s Street.

Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the new Cohiba Talisman, expertly paired with Eminente rums and accompanied by a traditional Cuban cocktail. A selection of canapés will also be served throughout the evening.
