Hunters & Frankau showcased volume two of their House Reserve 1790 Collection at the Ignite Trade Show back in May 2022. It was the first showing of the specially commissioned limited edition humidor and cigars, and, for sure, it sparked a huge amount of excitement and anticipation for it’s release.

The Hunters and Frankau House Reserve 1790 Collection No.2 is comprised of 61 Limited and Regional Edition Ramon Allones cigars - six lines of 10 cigars and one cigar of the ultra-rare 2005 UK Regional Edition, Ramon Allones Belicoso.

The Seven lines are:

2005 UK Regional Edition - Belicoso

2011 Limited Edition  - Allones Extra

2012 UK Regional Edition  - Petit Belicosos

2015 Limited Edition - Club Allones

2015 UK Regional Edition – H&F Aniversario 225

2019 Limited Edition - Allones No.2

2020 UK Regional Edition – H&F Private Stock 230

Limited Edition Habanos Cigars

The Private Stock 230 has yet to be released and we believe the launch will be early autumn. It is the UK regional edition for 2020 and celebrates 230 years of Hunters & Frankau. The cigar size is 6 ¾’’ (170mm) x 50 ring gauge.

All the cigars in this collection are highly sought after and, more importantly, are cigars that have been revered for their fantastic smoke experience. Even the relatively recent release of the Allones No.2 has now become a rare cigar because they were either too good not to smoke or too good not to add to a cigar enthusiast’s collection.

The humidors have been created by specialist humidor craftsman Massimo de Munari of DeArt. Made in Italy using only the finest materials, Massimo has designed another wonderful cigar box for this sequel collection of cigars. Limited to only 50 numbered boxes signed by Hunters and Frankau Executive Chairman Jemma Freeman, this collection, just like Collection No. 1, will be a prized collectable for cigar collectors around the world.

The inspiration for Colleción Two is also a homage to Hunters & Frankau’s long-standing history with Ramon Allones. In 1911, the Ramon Allones factory in Havana was owned by John Hunter, one of the founders of Hunters & Frankau. It was owned by Hunters & Frankau until 1927 when they decided to sell it to the owners of Partagas Cigars. However, they retained the exclusive brand rights of Ramon Allones in the United Kingdom. The relationship with the brand has been strong ever since and is evident with their selection of Regional Editions and the global launch of the Allones No.2 (Ediction Limitada 2019) in the UK in 2020.

Just a reminder, Collection No.1 was released in 2019 and was limited to 30 exclusively numbered boxes. It contained all of the UK Regional Editions from its inception back in 2005 with the exception of the 2018 UK Regional Edition El Rey Del Mundo La Reina.

Keep watching our social media channels for updates and for the launch of Collection Two. This is only available from UK retailers and will be available at James J Fox when it is officially launched.
